We work in the department of Loreto,
specifically with riverine communities of the Marañón, Amazonas, Ucayali and
Tiger Rivers and tributaries. Our
goal is to pursue initiatives to improve the living conditions of women and
their families.
Of its 900,965 inhabitants, 32% is
dispersed in rural communities. Transportation is by river, through canoes and
boats, which demand that women in communities such as St. Regis, travel 30
hours to arrive at Tambo Minga, located in the town of Nauta.
